Terms of use

The terms for accessing Solandra, connecting content, managing accounts and agreeing paid service.

Effective date: 16 September 2026

Solandra is operated by Yashraj, an individual based in India, trading as Solandra ("Solandra", "we", "us"). Solandra is not yet a registered company; these terms will be updated when it is. Questions: contact@solandra.io.

1. Using the service

When you sign in to an account we created for you, or otherwise use the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Solandra for a business, you confirm you can act for it.

Solandra is offered to businesses, startups and solo founders. You must be at least 18 to hold an account, because an account is a contract. Visitors who use an assistant on a customer's website can be any age; the customer is responsible for its own visitors.

If we sign a separate written agreement with you, that agreement wins where it conflicts with these terms.

2. What Solandra provides

Tools to connect website content, configure a question-answering widget, review conversations, see the questions your content did not answer, and let your team reply.

Solandra is in private beta. Features, limits and availability can change, and a feature we discuss or show is not part of your service until it ships. You provide any human support to your visitors; we do not supply support staff or promise response times.

3. Accounts and access

During the beta we create accounts after a conversation with you; there is no self-service sign-up. Keep your credentials confidential, change any temporary password we issue at first sign-in, and control who you add to your organisation and projects. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for telling us promptly about access you believe is unauthorised.

4. Your content and visitors

You keep your rights in the content you connect. You give us permission to fetch, store, process and display it as needed to run the service, including preparing it for search, generating answers, showing source links, and using the providers listed in our privacy policy.

You must have the right to connect the content you connect, including permission to crawl it. You decide which sources are public; content marked public may appear in answers to visitors.

5. AI answers

Answers are generated by AI from your content. They can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Source links show what was retrieved, not that every sentence is correct. Review answers that matter, keep your content current, and do not rely on Solandra alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Marking a gap as resolved records your team's action. It does not teach the assistant anything; the content has to contain the answer.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Solandra to break the law, harass or deceive people, or infringe anyone's rights. Do not connect content you are not allowed to use, or use the crawler to get past a login or paywall. Keep passwords, API keys and payment details out of connected content and conversations. Do not probe, overload or attack the service or other customers' data; report a suspected vulnerability to contact@solandra.io instead.

7. Pricing and payment

Plans are not public during the beta. Where we offer a free trial, it lasts 7 days from the date we tell you, on your own content. Any paid service, its scope, limits, notice period and refund terms are agreed with you in writing before it starts, and that written agreement governs cancellation and refunds. Nothing is charged before it is agreed.

8. Our property

Solandra's software, design and branding are ours. These terms do not transfer any of it to you, and you may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.

9. Third-party services

We rely on providers for hosting, AI, authentication, crawling, search and email; they are listed in the privacy policy. Their outages affect us. We choose providers carefully but do not control them.

10. Privacy

How we handle information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms, creates a risk to the service or other people, or goes unpaid after it was agreed. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. You can stop using the service at any time; account and content deletion timelines are in the privacy policy.

12. Availability and warranties

The service is provided as is, during a beta. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we make no warranty beyond what the law requires.

13. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you paid nothing, our liability is limited to what the law requires. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by an AI answer you did not check.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to account holders before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the competent courts in India. This will be narrowed to a specific jurisdiction when Solandra registers as a company.
